As A Creative Designer At Walt Disney Imagineering, Pete Carsillo Has The Opportunity To Wear “A Lot Of Hats,” And The Privilege Of Bringing New Magic To Many Of The Most Beloved Attractions At The Disney Parks.
Dreaming Up And Building Disney Attractions Captivated Pete As A Young Boy, And He Spent Endless Hours Recreating Cardboard Versions Of Audio-Animatronics And Dark Rides In His Boyhood Bedroom. When The Call Finally Came From Wed Imagineering In The Mid 1980’S, Pete Was Honored To Contribute Efforts To The Design Of The Great Movie Ride At Disney’S Hollywood Studios And Phantom Manor At Disneyland Paris.
As A Sculptor, Pete Also Served As An Assistant To Disney Legend Blaine Gibson In The Creation Of The Life-Sized Bronze Roy Disney And Minnie Mouse Statue For Main Street U.S.A. At Magic Kingdom Park. Pete Worked As The Set Decorator On The 2007 Refresh Of Spaceship Earth At Epcot; Redressing The Entire Show And Creating New Show Scenes At The Top Of The Sphere. He Was Honored To Be Production Designer On The 2008 Hall Of Presidents Refresh, Restaging The Show And Installing President Barack Obama To The Role Call Of Presidents.
Most Recently, Pete Served As The Creative Designer On The Re-Imaginings Of The Haunted Mansion, Country Bear Jamboree, And Big Thunder Mountain At Magic Kingdom Park, Walt Disney World.
